Feedback from completed tasks
The result depends on the sections completed. A path without voice recordings does not measure pronunciation or speaking fluency.

Example task: describe a picture
A speaking task may ask your child to describe what they see. For a park scene, they might say, “I can see a dog. The children are playing.” This illustrates the task type; it is not a test answer key.
About the children’s test and trial lesson
Who is the children’s English level test for?
The individual flow offers ages 4–6 and 7–12. Choosing age 13 or above opens the adult assessment. If your child joins with a school class code, the school’s selected grade band determines the test path.
Can my child take part before they can read?
Yes. Ages 4–6 go directly to visual tasks. For ages 7–12, the flow asks about reading readiness. Children who cannot yet read use visual tasks; readers follow a supported or full question path.
How long does the test take?
The time depends on the path, response speed and whether speaking tasks are needed. Set aside a few uninterrupted minutes, with extra time for recordings and result processing. There is no fixed completion time for every child.
Do we need a microphone, app or account?
The assessment runs in a browser without an app installation. A microphone is needed only for speaking tasks. The individual flow may ask for a parent account during registration or results. Students joining with a school code do not provide email or phone details.
Is the result an official certificate?
No. This short assessment provides a learning starting point. Age, understanding the instructions, answers and recording conditions can affect the result. It does not replace an official exam or measure every part of your child’s English with certainty.
Can I help my child during the assessment?
You may explain the instructions and help with the device or audio. Let your child choose answers and speak for themselves so the feedback reflects their own responses.
Is the assessment the same as a trial lesson?
No. The test consists of assessment tasks. Trial-lesson booking is separate: child details, teacher type, parent account and phone verification come before choosing an available time. A booking is complete only after the system confirms it.
How do we choose the trial teacher and time?
First choose an offered teacher type. Available times are shown for that choice, and the teacher assigned to the slot is selected with the booking. Check the displayed time zone. If no times are available, try another time or contact support.
Is the test free, and is there a trial-lesson limit?
The assessment is free. Trial eligibility is checked separately; a trial used with the same phone number in the last 30 days may prevent another booking. Current eligibility and lesson information appear in the booking flow. Taking the assessment does not purchase an education package.
What if the microphone or connection fails?
Check browser microphone permission, the selected input device and your internet connection. Use the retry option shown on screen. If the problem continues, take a break and contact support instead of making your child repeat recordings indefinitely.
